Exchanging the Technology : Reforming the society
If we think for a time, we can clearly find obstacles in our progress.
Until, the suitable technical knowledge, skill and capability among people is not developed, the nation’s economic condition cannot be strengthened. With the objective of exchanging technology among people we have established ‘Our Technology : Better Nepal’. We have achieved success in our very first year but the challenges are more for us in the coming days keeping information and communication at the centre, we have to operate our developmental projects. We are also working with the co-operation of Mahabir pun who did the outstanding job of taking Internet service to remote villages with the help of ‘Micro-wave link’ for which he won ‘Roman Magsaysay Award’. But the Internet simply cannot raise living-standard of people. It’s use has to be linked with economic development then only desirable changes in the society can be brought. This year as a Mode-1 project we are going to built two ‘Information and Communication Centre’.

With the help of video and live training, there will be the agricultural advancement and the n with the same process other fundamental developmental works will be carried that will lead us towards the overall socio-economic development of the people.
In this effort, Elsevier Foundation, USA will support us and we are trying our best to disseminate this concept all around the country. Also, we are enthusiastic in our work because we will be directly supported by Hon. Mahabir Pun.
Similarly, in our effort to develop technology, we are coming to you by means of Deusi and bhailo program. Your suggestions will be extremely valuable for us and it will provide us the easy path in our endeavour.
In this age of globalization,--------------------------. In fact, the developing country like ours, have been lacking, when it comes about the exploration and utilization of the –(brains).
Through ‘Our Technology: Better Nepal’, we have tried to include the technical manpowers that are scattered in different part of the Earth. We believe, it is a complete illusion that the physical body of the person should be within Nepal, if it is about using their knowledge, skills and capability. This is what we have felt through our experience in the past year. We have been able to compile and use the valuable concepts, Engineering designs as well as funds from our members who are living abroad.
We are trying to produce the manpower who could working in collaboration with the local people i.e., who could promote the construction and development at the local level. We found this approach very helpful in attracting the investment in the local level.
At last, we are about to come before you through Deusi-vailo program, to listen your experiences of development at the local level and to collect the suggestions you have for us. Along with this, we expect some economic help(aid) for the information centres, we are about to built.
