The remote village of Baglung has conneted with rest of the world

The remote village of Baglung, Galkot has conneted by internet this week. The engineers from Our Technology: Prosperous Nepal has been there from two month. More then 10 educational institute, Health Centre and about 15 usres from 3 different villagers has used the Internet at first phase.

The wireless network has helped the students and villagers in a very effective way. Almost all the school and institutions are connected with the link. Students are very much interested in surfing the net and they solve their problems through the internet, while the villagers are happy to use net-phone so that they can talk with their relatives living abroad in low price.

Most of the youth of the village are out from there for searching the jobs. Most of them are at Malaysia, Qatar and other gulf countries. The villagers are very happy because they can talk with their relatives at very less price.

A E- library And distant learning programme is going to be set up at NewLife Boarding School in association with Our Technology: Prosperous Nepal. After that the students and also the teachers will be trained from the distant. We are planning to set up Telemedicine service in Harichaur,Galkot where Model Hospital Kathmandu will be connected through the network of Nepal wireless.
